I was introduced to running when I was about 8 years old and have loved it ever since. My 9th and 10th grade year of H.S. I ran for Box Elder, I transfered as a Junior to Sky View.

I was originally planning on going easy but Ethan wanted to do some sprints so I did 5x30 second and 3x1 min intervals then we went inside on the 13 lap track and did 2xhalf mile tempos and 1 more mile tempo. I didn't feel like I was going as hard as I should have been going for a workout but I guess that ok since I wasn't planning on doing one.

Stockton just trying to keep dibs on ya. You are sky view now right? Also what's your plans for outdoor track this year? Have any goals in mind?

Hey Ben, I'm up at Sky View right now. For outdoor track I am planning on running the 1600 and 3200m and maybe the 8. I want to go sub 4:40 in the 16 and 10 flat in the 32. I really want to get my times down to hopefully give me a good xc season next year and qualify for state track.

I guarantee a sub 4:40 is way doable. Think positive! I would think a goal of sub 4:30 is in your bag this year. Train smart and on interval days just nail it and leave it on the track. When that sub 4:30 comes sub 10 min is child's play!

I will be watching and looking forward to your progress. I have a buddy that told me to quit reaching for the moon and shoot for the stars! That is my motivation everyday and should be yours.
